Those are fabulous shots.  Those cats are so beautiful, and the eye in that elephant just draws you into its soul.  SO tell more, where is your website and tips we can look at?  You got me hooked.  Great job.  Makes me excited to get good w. new long lens.  Having some trouble dialing it in so would love to see your website and tips.  Thx, liz

An eastern blue bird sits high in tree, enjoying the late afternoon sun. The raw file was processed in Digital Photo Professional. The colour fringing was controlled with hue/saturation/lightness layer. The colours were enhanced with a vibrancy layer.

A male cardinal perches in a tree. The image was processed in Digital Photo Professional. The white balance was changed to the cloudy preset. PaintShop Pro was used to edit the image. The chromatic aberration removal tool was used to control the fringing. A hue/saturation/lightness layer was used to help control the purple fringing.

A house sparrow perches in a bush, while chirping its songs. The raw file was processed in AfterShot Pro 2. The image was edited in PaintShop Pro. A cuves layer, with an overlay blending mode and an opacity of48% wa used to adjust the tonal range. The chromatic aberration removal tool was used to control the colour fringing.
