You may not need more FL.  300mm on the 7D will be pretty good.  Actually acting like a 480mm on my 1DX.  I shoot a lot of birds with only 300mm.  It is 300mm on my 1DX.  You are right, you need a better lens and I guess truth be known you never have enough FL.

I did no longer. i used to be running and now not on my own. It became a hectic week and i was dead worn-out while we have been via.

EOS 1DX and 1D Mk IV, in conjunction with, a whole lot of other stuff.

Adding a person to your landscape can help your image tell a story. People, or even a single individual, may add mystery and adventure to your landscape, causing your viewers to wonder who,

Thats beautiful!!!

The next night we went to the lake.  The sky was beautiful so I quickly set up the camera.  I didn't even focus it beyond moving it to infinity.  I had the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM Lens on the 1DX.  Took a 30 sec exposure, here is what it saw.

The bright area on the bottom left is Paola. KS (15 miles) and the bright area on the right is Ottawa, KS (20 miles) which has a huge Walmart distribution center there.  It is never night time there!  This is straight South from me.  I can not shoot to the North as Kansas City which is about 40 miles away is too bright.

Also caught a jet passenger plane.
