There are some really interesting and creative images here.  The one chosen for the Fall Gallery is perhaps the more conventional, but they all have merit.  That said, I do really appreciate the use of greyscale to make us concentrate on the tonal and textural characteristics of the scene.

cheers, TREVOR

The mark of good photographer is less what they hold in their hand, it's more what they hold in their head;
"All the variety, all the charm, all the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow", Leo Tolstoy;
"Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase" Percy W. Harris

Thank you Trevor,

I appreciate your time. I am a stickler for a good exposure. It is interesting as one starts their photography journey little by little we tackle the technical aspects of what makes a good photo after the creative vision. There is a lot to know with this art both creative and technical. It is what captured my love for photography!
