These shots were done with a Canon R100 and a Lensbaby Sweet 22 lens.
The Sweet 22 is a 22mm lens with extreme sharpness fall off to the edges. It's actually trickier to work with than a conventional lens, but worth the effort.
I love black-and-white. I love quirky lenses. I love surrealism. I love imperfection. I love IoNiZeR.
I tire easily of the images that are excessively sharp, excessively free of noise, and excessively perfect due to being an assembled image that is more Photoshop or AI manipulation than SOOC photography. The more people go in that direction, the more I go in the opposite direction.
To each his own of course, but I'd rather have a fever dream SOOC.
