I took this at one of my recent workshops, the model is a great friend and truly vibrant and colourful in every sense. But once I looked at this shot - taken through a luggage net from the trunk of my car - I thought it would look better in monochrome, and in my view it does.
To give you more of an idea of what vibrant and colourful looks like, here's another shot from the same evening with the exact same outfit as the monochrome photo above.

Big fan Brian. The DR and tones create some incredible separation in the skin tone and the eyes.

Thank you Marc. I know what you mean about her eyes.
I'm also convinced she must be the Canon "test" subject for people eye detection, because if her eyes are in the frame there's no Canon mirrorless I've used that can't focus on them. Probably it's down to her incredible makeup skills and how she defines her eyes, but it's nice to think she's bewitched my camera 😁
