Infinity

At Ramsden's request on a post from two weeks ago, I present Infinity. I shot this photo using a 4 inch tall tripod. Camera was an R100. Lens was a Tokina 24mm f2.8. Exposure was 5200k ISO 125 1/125s @ f11. B/W conversion and contrast adjustment done in Pix.

Great shot. Right up my street (or track)!

We have a couple of places near where I live in Yorkshire, where an old footpath crosses a single track railway, so you've inspired me to take a look. Two trains an hour, so I'll do the maths!

Another approach would have the camera higher to get the full effect of infinity as the tracks converge in the distance.
