Full disclosure, this Graizzly was out about 150 yards, the Rangers wouldn't let me get any closer and it was around 6:00 pm. The sun was hot! I did run this image through Topaz because I just thought it was to cool not to share. This Bear pulled the Elk out of a marsh it was stuck in and sat on it eating for 5 days. We ventured onto it on day 3 when it was good and angry fighting off other predators. We spoke to a couple that watched it walk away on day 5 after the Elk was picked clean.

150 yards is close enough. Any closer and it could be considered an intrusion on the bear's space. Photo of a lifetime. Check with the rangers to see where the bear might be seen in the spring.
