Trying to catch otters at some kind of rest is a challenge.  They are always on the move - writhing around each other to reinforce their social bonds, or suddenly darting off to explore some new interest and often disappearing into the water.

So, I was grateful to get a couple of the little characters actually stopped.

All shots hand-held, available light, auto ISO, single point centre Servo BB focus and eye tracking (animals), Single point centre BB exposure,

The mark of good photographer is less what they hold in their hand, it's more what they hold in their head;
"All the variety, all the charm, all the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow", Leo Tolstoy;
"Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase" Percy W. Harris
