Crop Dusting Helicopter

Done in Av mode with a 55-250mm IS STM lens at 100mm with Center-weighted average metering.

I learned later that this little dusting event cost $24,000 at $400 per acre.

Some kind of boll weevil or something. I think the property owner told my wife that a couple of years ago, a weevil of some kind totally wiped out a whole year's crop.

 I was born and raised on a dairy farm in Ohio. I'm thinking the crop income should offset the cost of dusting. I used to see airplanes dusting cotton crops in LA. Colored stakes at the edges of the fields guided what was treated and what needed to be treated. Good photo, catching the helicopter in midflight.
