Chrismas and NY Sorted: Solving the Gift Problem

You may have the same issue.  Each year, for those with whom you share gifts, it can become a challenge to find something that is expressive of you, reasonable priced and will actually be used.  It's often harder as we get older, when our potential recipients have more fixed tastes and less need for 'stuff'.

For many, that is solved by buying a calender: the gift that keeps on giving throughout the year.   Of course as photographers, we are going to want to create our own to make it more personal (and perhaps strut our stuff 🙂).

I have been doing this for a while and I thought I might share my efforts this time around.  I got mine done by one of the many printing services. They made the slightly irregular images all fit nicely into the calendar format.

Each year, I try a different theme, last year's was 'Say it With Flowers' and this time I have gone for NZ Birds, most of which are endangered or threatened.

Our son's family gives us a calendar with photos of the year's events. I get two calendars from two organizations- fishing and wildlife. Stunning photos!

I completely resonate with the challenge of finding the perfect gift, especially as we grow older and our loved ones become more particular about what they want. A personalized calendar is such a thoughtful idea! It not only lasts the whole year but also allows us to showcase our creativity and personal touch. And when it comes to personalization, name necklace are a definite winner. They offer a stunning array of options, from classic to contemporary designs, all customizable with names or initials. It's a gift that not only adds a touch of elegance to any outfit but also holds sentimental value.
