Big Boy is the name of the Union Pacific #4014 Steam Locomotive. It was built in 1941, weighs 1.2 million pounds and is 132 feet long. It was retired in 1961. It underwent a multi-year restoration and was put back in service in 2019. These photos were taken Wednesday 10/09/24 as it past through Bryan, Texas as part of its Heartland of America Tour. Shot on a R5, using various lenses (RF 24-70 2.8, EF 70-200 2.8 and a RF 100-500).
