Backyard wildlife

We spotted two Cooper's hawks in the backyard. They were together for a while and one went to another limb. I took some photos at 300mm but they weren't all that great. I went for the biggy lens and took the rest at 600mm. Much better! The one was watching me as it was having a snack on a squirrel as seen on the limb. The other had its head behind a limb but I didn't want to move and spook both hawks.

I'm not familiar enough with a 600 mm focal length to know how far away from the hawk you are, but it's interesting to me that the hawk probably sees you just as well with his superior vision. Good shot!

Thanks. FWIW, my wife takes some great bird photos with her SX530 HS through the kitchen window!

I was about 30 yards from the hawk. I didn't want to get closer and the two hawks fly off. I'm going to experiment with a couple of extra photos and delete the limbs with PSE2021.
