Just after sunrise at Caracolí Bird House in Villavicencio, Meta, Colombia, I photographed this Chestnut-eared Aracari (Pteroglossus castanotis) from 15 meters away.
Using the Canon R5 paired with the RF800 f/11 lens, I shot at 1/180 second, f/11 and ISO 3200. The combination delivered excellent reach and detail retention in the soft morning light while allowing me to remain at a respectful distance without disturbing the bird.
The RF800 f/11 continues to prove itself as a powerful tool for ethical long-distance wildlife photography, producing clean, sharp results even in challenging low-light conditions at dawn.
