Fifty years ago I lived in Connecticut and went to Lime Rock often.

Nice shot. Was it a lucky one or is it one out of hundreds you tried? 😊

This shot was taken at the first corner on the track. It’s where the action happens early in races. If you know where to stand, have the right lens and, most important, the right shutter speed. When you want to capture panning images, then you use a slow speed. To stop crashes I’m over 1/200 sec. The shot was a combination of racing knowledge, plus the right settings and a little luck. Hope that helps

Amazing photo of the tilted car. You seem to have a handle on photos of racing. Reminds me of Atlanta at rush hour.
