Spotted this beautiful interaction between a female Red-winged Blackbird and her juvenile at Montrose Point Bird Sanctuary, Chicago. I waited patiently as the mother moved through the reeds, and finally, she paused just long enough to feed her young — a quick but touching moment I’ll never forget.
This was one of those rare, emotional scenes that reminds us why we love wildlife photography. No setups, no distractions — just raw, natural behavior in the wild.
