When I open my ranger for my check scanner after installing the last two Windows 11 updates (KB5049622) and (KB5050009) it tells me that the transport is dead. After I uninstal both updates and reboot the computer several times the scanner starts to work again. Any insight?

We just encountered the same issue but did not know the issue was present until today. We can't uninstall the KB5050009 update since its a security update and has been over a month since the install.
@Danny What is Canon going to do to fix this with the Ranger driver? Do I need to open a support case?
