Canon 400 Lide - Lines appeared on Scan.

Hello,

Yesterday, I bought a Canon 400 lide scanner - after many hours of testing .. I realized that the scanner cannot scan a particular paper. The scan shows stripes but the paper does not have any stripes....

The strangest things is that when I was scanning this paper on a regular all-in-one printer - the scan was ok.

Please check the photos and let me know if you can make any sense of it (-because I can't at the moment)

Thanks for the fast reply.

I just found how to solve: Neet to put Descreen ON and Unsharp Mask OFF.

It removes the stripes - but image less sharp...

What is the paper? It looks like it has a texture.

Yes it has a printed texture. The paper is yellow and mat A4.

Well, the two scanners "see" the texture and color differently. No surprise.
