I just bought the CanoScan LiDE 400, I installed the Ij Scan Utility software on my device running on windows 10 (I made sure I installed the right version) but every time I try to use the scanner I get the error Code 2,156,33.
The device is connected properly and the lock switch has been switched to the unlocked position.
When not in use the scanning element Is on the hinge side, not the side with the buttons. When the warming up process is done, it automatically returns to this position.
what can i do to fix this error?

Hi,
Since it returns to the hinge side each time the scanner would require service. Since the printer is in warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
