I was recording with the Canon XF605 for the first time and when wanted to view the footage on my PC, Windows media said "It uses unsupported encoding settings. I checked the recording method and I have not touched it since I it was handed to me, I have to share this footage with other people. I looked up the Codec issue and that didnt seem to work. this is probably a simple solution but I'm essentially a noob to this. Any help will do Thanks

Hi! I was having same issue for about two months, and fixed it. I have an EOS R50. I was able to record and download while using the IS mode, and the close-ups mode, but not with manual or auto exposure. I fixed it tonight by troubleshooting the camera settings. What I did to fix it is by going to menu, camera settings (the far left at least on my camera), second tab, and turn "HDR Shooting" off. I hope this helps you, and others who have this same issue.
