My XA40 camcorder has a problem with staying in focus. Unfortunately, this started shortly after the manufacturer's warranty expired. I believe the focus drive has malfunctioned. I did not purchase an extended warranty which will never happen again. It will not stay in focus whether in automatic or manual mode. Is there any way to return the camera to Canon for repair at my expense?
