I can't find any specific reference to a LANC port in the XF605 camcorder manual (maybe because of a trademark issue?), but I'm trying to research a suitable remote zoom and focus control (probably from Varizoom - I'm looking at their VZPROL, the Panasonic equivalent of which has worked well for other cameras). The Sony/Canon version of that unit uses the LANC protocol. Does anyone know if that will work with the XF605? The only remote control port of any kind I can find in the XF605 manual that looks like a mini jack is just called "Remote A", without any kind of LANC reference. Is that it?
