WIth the GL2 you can use any applications that will accept video input from firewire. Since this is a fairly universal format cable wise, this is most video editing programs.
If you have a Mac the program called iMovie will import the files. If you have a PCit's called WIndows Movie Maker. These are programs which are built into the operating system.
