Hello,
I just bought the R5c. I own a number of EF lenses. All my EF lenses autofocus fine on the Photo mode of the R5C but none of them autofocus in video mode.
This includes
- Canon 16-35 f2.8 III
- Canon 24-70 f4 II
- Canon 70-200 f2.8 III
- Sigma Contemporary 150-600
I have upgraded the firmware to the latest on camera.
Is there anything I can do? Please help.
thanks,
Ammar

Steve,
The R5 C is a hybrid camera that has two operating systems. Photo mode and video mode. Photo mode has the standard photo menus you're accustomed to seeing on a DSLR or mirrorless.body. Video mode runs Canon's Cinema OS. It runs completely independent of photo mode. There is no integration. It's the OS that runs on Canons professional Cinema series video cameras.

Rick,
Thank you. I understand now.
I read up on the R5C yesterday. Quite an impressive camera.
