Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out to share a concern I've been experiencing with my Canon R5C, specifically related to autofocus tracking in high-speed photo mode.
When shooting in H+ speed mode with AFC enabled, my Canon R5C often loses focus, and the focus point tends to be front-focused, especially when using RF 15-35mm, 24-70mm, and 70-200mm (f2.8) lenses. Even in static scenes that don't require quick adjustments, the camera consistently struggles and results in front focus after a few shots.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem with the Canon R5C in high-speed photo mode? If so, have you found any solutions or workarounds?
I appreciate any insights or suggestions you may have regarding this issue. It's becoming quite frustrating, and I'm eager to find a resolution.
Thank you for your time and assistance!

I won't have availability to test until Saturday. I have three of the four lenses that you are using. Not all lenses are capable of H+ but I believe the four you have would be. What firmware are you running? Have you installed 1.0.6.1 yet?

Would still like to know what firmware you are running, since fairly dramatic AF changes were introduced with 1.0.4.1 and >.
What AF Operation are you using?
What AF Method is set?
This info will be helpful to reproduce your shooting settings.
I would also suggest using DPP to review what the camera is using for focus point(s) at the time of exposure.
