Hello,
My brand new PRO-310 has started to print very fine lines on the first and last 2 inches of or of photos. It isn't on 100% of photos, but it's very noticible when it does happen. I'm utilizing Canon Professional Print and Layout on the lastest MacOS with highest quality image selected and feeding from the top tray. The correct paper type/size is selected on both the printer and the software (the below examples are on SG-201 5x7 and the last is LU-101 A3+). I've printed less than 20 photos with this printer, so it's frustrating to see this right out of the box. Where do I even begin with this?
Thanks!

Hello, that was my first step, but since their chat doesn’t work on the weekend, I figured being able to share visual evidence of my issue with others would be the best course of action. I feel like describing this issue over the phone without sharing an image of the problem will not lead to a great solution, but that’s my next step once they are open. Hopefully someone else has had a similar issue!

Hi, I just posted yesterday about this same issue, did you find a solution?

Unfortunately not. I’m going to have to contact Canon support. Extremely frustrating.

Hey, thanks. Have you run a nozzle cleaning? I gave it a try last night, and it appears to have solved this issue for me. Seems odd to have to do that on a brand new unit, but for now, it's printing the way it should.

Did a nozzle cleaning and an alignment. No cigar.

Hi, I had the same issue with a brand new unit. I tried the cleaning function and the marks disappeared. Don't know if it's the nicest and long-term solution but hope that can help people reading this

Update so I can reference this thread to Canon support:
I attempted printing from my phone using the Canon Print app, and the lines are still present. The initial photos were printed from both Lightroom and Professional Print and Layout on the latest MacOS. My printer’s firmware is fully updated (2.020). I am using genuine Canon paper, SG-201 and LU-101. Both the printer and the app have the correct paper type selected. I have used 5x7, 8x10, and A3+ sizes.
Here’s my alignment pattern:

Update: Following advice from Canon support, I created a custom paper profile and performed a feed calibration. Results are exactly the same using the custom calibrated profile and the included profile.
Calibration results:
Still getting the banding on each side of the image. Overall I have had this experience with 3 different paper types (genuine Canon SG-201, PT-101, and LU-101) and 4 different paper sizes (Letter, 8x10, 5x7, and A3+). I have performed every calibration and self-test, and the problem has not resolved.
