Problemo:
I am replacing the maintenance cartridge (MC-20) on the ImageProGraph Pro-1100. I get an error 1772, indicating that I need to install the correct maintenance cartridge. THAT MAKES NO SENSE!!! I am putting in the correct maintenance cartridge for this printer. The printer manual even states to use the MC-20.
I figured maybe I need to reinstall the cartridge. I reinstalled the maintenance cartridge 4 times. I still get the same error.
Resolution:
I turned off the printer and waited about 2 minutes. I turned on the printer and low and behold, the ImageProGraf Pro-1100 woke up from it's coffee break and correctly registered the cartridge.
I figured I would share this experience, in the event others may encounter this issue.
