imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 Print jobs cancel themselves

I have a ImageProGraf 1100 it's on a wifi network and I connect my Windows 11 Home computer to it via Wifi. It's been working fine. Tonight, I sent it a print job via Professional Print and Layout. PPL shows activity, a print queue appears listing the job. The queue shows standby, sending, and then errors out. I can press the "Show UI" button and see the front panel of the printer. When I go to the job history it shows that the print was cancelled - no other indication of what the issue might be. I've checked the IP address, despite being able to bring up the UI on my PC which would indicate communication. I've rebooted the printer and the PC with no success.

In the process of troubleshooting the issue, I changed the admin password to be able to access the job manager.

Any Response or solutions?  only printed one photo and my computer sends images to printer, shows up in printer display, but nothing happens.  Paper is in, paper trays extended, but it doesnt even try to pull paper and print job goes away and its says "Printer Ready" on display.

I did a hard reset of the printer and reinstalled the canon software, that fixed mine.

My problem wasn't showing any errors in the process or queues.  It acted like it did the print job.  Got on with Tech support and they confirmed that the printer is defective and not performing as it should.  Now they are sending a replacement and I had to box up the old one and need to send it back.  ugg.

I poked around in the settings and reset them all. Then when I went through the initialization process everything worked like it should. I carried my boxed unit up a narrow and winding staircase. (I'm 73) It now will sell with the house.

My printer wasnt taking action to even print a WIFI settings report.    These things are heavy!!!  you are right.

Ugg... I'm having the same issue...    what specifically do you mean by initialization process?   Turn off and On?   I'm loathe to do that knowing the ink usage.   I have reset all settings and nothing

After the hard reset, I reinstalled the software like I did the first time, the Canon software finds and configures the wireless settings. Mine is connected wirelessly, I suspect a wired connection is far less fussy.

thanks... I had done a full reset...  and reinstalled drivers..  nothing..  Finally bit the bullet and just turned it off and back on.... working fine now...  Just didn't want to do that as it seems to use quite a bit of ink re-priming.....

So weird that the display said it was printing... but nothing happened!

Thanks so much for coming back to this old thread to answer
