imageGRAFPRO 310 (newby): Baryta 310 paper, option to turn off manual feed ok button

Day two with this printer, which I love, but I hate the software and convoluted printing process.

Yesterday I could run (not Canon) Baryta paper through the large (top) paper feed. Today it will only go through the back (manual) feed. It is OK to tell me I was doing something wrong yesterday, and today is the way it should be.

BUT, why the #$%& do I now have to get up from my desk every single time to press the button on the printer to say OK to print an image? Where can I turn that ridiculous feature off? I put the paper in the manual feed. Does it not know it is there? Seems really STUPID for me to have to manually press a button after I press print from Photoshop

Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Are you running macOS? The Pro-100 Mac driver requires that. The Windows driver presents a popup window that allows pressing Enter to start printing. Apparently a property/requirement of the CUPS driver.

Since you can only feed one sheet at a time anyway I don't load the paper until the (for my printer) the yellow light flashes. Then I load paper and press the feed button.

Yes, I am on a Mac, forgot to mention that. Just went through the CUPS driver fiasco yesterday. What a PITA. Anyway, thanks.
