Has anyone experienced extremely slow printing on the pro-1000? I've had the printer for two years and this issue only presented itself after I upgraded my computer to an M1 Max MacBook Pro. I have removed and reinstalled the printer and the software, tried both 300 and 600 PPI, tried printing jpegs, tiff, psd's, all to no avail. The current 17x22 print I'm working on is about 20% completed after 30 min.
Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi freekingphoto,
What version of OSX is installed on your Mac?
Are you using your imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 wirelessly?
or with a USB cable?

I had that issue too, and Canon tech support - who have consistently been great, by the way - led me to the answer: my Wi-Fi network needed to be restarted. The network was working fine at the time, but it only takes a power blip to flip some bits. I should have known!
To test whether that's the problem, somewhere under the Various Other Settings menu there's an option to print the Pro-1000's IP number on your network. (It'll either be a 192.168.xxx.xxx number or a 10.0.0.x one, if you're not up on this.)
Enter that number in a browser window. If the printer opens up, I'm wrong. Dollars to donuts it won't.
