Pro-100 Colors

Howdy-

I have had 2x Pro-100's for a while now. I have never been able to get them to print colors accurately from Photoshop or Lighroom directly. If I use Canon's Print Studio Pro plugin, the colors are perfect. What am I missing? In LR, I have selected proper color management profile, etc.

Windows.

Sounds like you might be double profiling, since PSP will automatically turn off printer color management.

Select Printer Setup; printer driver opens.

Select Main page

Go to Color/Intensity - select Manual - select Set

Select Matching - select None  - select OK

Hi John,

Unfortunately that wasn't it.

You can even tell the colors are off in the preview before it prints:

Try turning off Preview. I have seen reports where that affects printer output.

If that doesn’t solve it but PSP works OK are you losing anything by using PSP?

No luck with preview turned off eiither.

It's more of an annoyance/efficiency thing- anything I want to print, I first have to put into LR or PS to then launch PSP. Not all of the stuff I'm printing is in LR or PS to begin with.

Give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON for their tech support.
