Printing steps for Pro-310 from Lightroom Classic on Mac?

I just bought a Pro-310 and am not sure that I am printing/managing color correctly.  I print from Lightroom Classic running on a MacBook Pro M1max on Sequoia 15.4.1.  The printer driver is the Canon driver, version 29.5.0.0

I want to have Lightroom manage color using the ICC profiles.  No matter what I do the color management on the printer says "managed by Canon", not "colorsynch" (which I believe is the ICC profile from the printing software?).

Can someone please help me out with some step-by-step handholding?

Thanks in advance,
Mark

A number of folks on this forum are describing problems when printing with the new Canon printers.

Folks have success using Professional Print & Layout to print.

Yes, I seem to be able to use Professional Print and Layout successfully but it should work to print out of Lightroom Classic. I believe that this "broke" after the latest Apple system update for the Mac, but I'm not positive.

Sometimes redownloading and installing the driver after a macOS update resolves problems.
