I own a Pixma pro-100 for about 3 years (made arond 750 printings during that period). A few weeks ago, after performig deep nozzle clean, I started getting horizontal black lines on all the prints. After going through all the regular cleaning procedures with no help, I opened, for the first time, the printhead. I found on the printhead massive black "wet" stains and it took a while to carfully clean it. Cleaning the printhead worked perfectly and now the prints are perfect again. That was a week ago. Yesterday I opened the printhead again, and saw little black wet dots around the printhead where the ink is coming out. I didn't clean it, and still the prints are perfect. My question is, if these ink dots are normal and I just need to clean the printhead every once in a while, or maybe, it is a sign of leakage and a printhead replacement is in order.
Thanks in advance for any help.
