MacOS Sonoma v14 + Canon Pro9000 MarkII = Help!
I have a Canon Pro9000 MarkII from when I was in college like 20 years ago (haha). I upgraded my laptop to a 2021 MBP and the OS is Sonoma. I am unable to find any softwares for it so I loaded the latest one available which was for a much older OS version.
I am able to get it to start, I was able to do a print test only once. I am unable to use the utility to clean, I would always get a printer error has occured. Sometimes it would print things and sometimes it would not. It would throw "cannot send data to printer".
What can I do to fix this issue?

Hi xxaimsxx,
The PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II is not supported on Macs using an OS newer than High Sierra (v10.13). You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.
If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm. Let them know you have been working with technical support and the Canon Upgrade Program was offered.
