PIXMA PRO-200 prints faint at first, then gets darker, then faint again

Hi All,

I am printing art prints of my illustrations. Unexpectedly, my pro-200 has just started to be quite faint, especially with the black, when printing the first couple of inches of a print. It then get darker and prints the correct colours for the rest of the print, though sometimes it will get faint again toward the end, especially on text..

I haven't changed any settings, ink cartridges, or paper immediately prior to this happening. I have since replaced the black ink cartridge which seemed to solve it for one small 8x10" print, but then the next one went straight back to the same issue.

I did a nozzle check and cleaned the print heads. 

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thank you
