PIXMA PRO-200 - Muddy results . . .

I just bought a Pixma Pro 200, and am using Canon paper, printing from Photoshop allowing PS to select paper. The photos are muddy, nothing like the photos I get from my local lab. I’m wondering if I should return the 200 and purchase the 300?

A not uncommon cause of initially poor results from a new printer is printing on the wrong side of the photo paper. Please don't be offended by my mentioning this possibility, as it can happen to anyone.
