Purchased a used PIXMA Pro 10 in great condition few pgi 72 ink cartridges are flashing so will replace soon.
Im running windows 8 downloaded the printer driver online, followed instructions for wireless set up, hooked via usb but find printer not communicating with my computer and WiFi button is not lit up so not sure if need a new usb connection cable or what I need to do the driver download was successful.
any suggestions thanks Rob

If this correct and you saw it working before you bought it then you need to check your cable since that is the communication path to the computer.
If you didn't see it functioning then it may be DOA.

Everything seems to be functioning installing new ink cartridges today, driver download worked, I may pick up a new usb printer cable those often wear out being plugged in and out and try a WiFi reset on the printer too.
if printer WiFi doesn’t work but usb does guess will just use that.
