Moving my Pro1000

JWOPHOTO93
Apprentice

Hello All,

I need to move my printer from the downstairs dining room, that was once the makeshift office for my printing to one of the spare bedrooms upstairs that is now the dedicated office space for my work.  (Kids are gone, I am empty nesting!  HA!)     Do I still need to do the moving process of dumping my ink, etc., or is it OK to move it as carefully as possible?     Once it's upstairs, should I do another maintenance run as well?

Thanks in advance,

Jules

When you move the Pro 1000, be very careful not to let printer tilt more than 20 degrees (or isn't 15 degrees?) . This will require your helpers know not to -even for a second- to tilt the printer. Once in place, run a nozzle check or test print. Check ink level to make sure there was not an ink dump. Check your ink level before and after moving to see the levels are the same.. when you unplug printer and then re-plug it in and turn it on, it will automatically do a purge/maintaince cycle.

Thank you!!
