Have downloaded the installation software (zip file), but when I run it (even as administrator) it will start and then freeze. OS is Win8.1. Have even shut down the firewall. Same problem. Anyone experience the same issue - have a suggestion for getting around this. Just purchased a Pixma Pro 100. Thank you.

You have to have the original DVD that came with your camera installed before you can d/l and re-install it from Canon.
I don't know why, that is just the way Canon did it.

Thank you. I removed all Canon items I could find, then reinstalled and Print Studio Pro loaded and worked, at least for Photoshop. For some reason, did not for Lightroom. Doing some analysis to see if I can determine why.
