Issue with Pro 1100 Freezing During Print Jobs and Calibration

Kikala

Hello everyone,

I have a Canon Pro 1100 printer, and I’ve encountered an issue a few times during printing. When I send a print job through the Canon PPL software, the printer display shows that it’s processing the print job, but the printer doesn’t actually start printing—it just stays idle. The only way to resolve this has been to power off the printer and turn it back on. After doing this, the printer processes the print job and prints as expected.

I’ve double-checked all connections, including the IP address, and everything seems to be set up correctly. This issue has also occurred during color calibration. The printer wouldn’t start the calibration until I powered it off and back on.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with the Pro 1100? If so, do you know what might be causing this or how to resolve it?

Thank you for your help!
