How to Print onto a DVD/CD disk with Canon pro 10

I have had no luck in printing directly onto a disk. Image garden software does not seem to work. How do you print onto a disk?

On another forum, I recieved this reply. I was able to print onto a DVD successfully when following this method.

      - After clicking on "Create or Open Items" there appears a list of items across the top of the page upon which a "label" can be printed. The term "label" is somewhat confusing because it is used in a general manner. That is, the label also applies to printing something on a disc. One of the icons that appear across the top of the page is a dvd disc. Select this icon by clicking on it. Another window opens showing a large dvd disc. At the bottom left of this window is shown "Paper Size". Click on this to open a drop down list of either Not Set, Standard Disc 4.7" 120mm (small inner circle), and Standard Disc 4.7" 120mm. Select whatever is appropriate for the DVD disc you are using. Then click OK. The next step is to either select from the labels offered in the window by Canon, or select from images that you have on your computer. Once this is accomplished you can continue to printing the DVD.

The disc tray into which the DVD disc is placed has a large printed arrow indicating the direction in which the disc tray is inserted into the printer. The disc tray is pushed into the printer until the smaller triangle printed on the right hand side of the disc tray, aligns with the triangle on the printer.

There are two operating buttons on the right hand side of the printer. The top button turns the printer on and off. Below the ON/Off button is the "Resume" button. The "Resume" button is pushed to start the disc printing operation. That's it. After pressing the Resume button, the disc tray will be drawn into the printer. The disc tray will stop momentarily and then reverse its direction, stop again and reverse again going into the printer. Printing of the disc will then begin.
