Hello community!
Something almost paranormal is happening to me.
I have a Canon Pro-1000, original inks, and I print on Hahnemühle Museum Etching using PPL (Windows 11).
Until last week, I printed several A4s with excellent results. Today, I needed to print in A3, and PPL stopped working (I read on a forum that it might be due to the IP address, so I’ll try re-adding the printer).
However, I noticed that I could print from Photoshop, but the first print came out dull and lacking vibrancy. And here’s where things get bizarre: I used the other side of the same sheet to avoid wasting it, and the print came out perfect.
I took a new sheet, and the print was dull again. Tried another new sheet—same result. Then, I made two more attempts using the sheets with the dull prints… and they came out perfect.
What the hell is going on???
Thanks for your time
Stefano
