Canon imagePROGRAF Pro-1000 paper change issues

Hey everyone, I’m new to the community and I can’t wait to interact with you all. I have a imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 that I just set up and have recently started working with. I currently used 17x22 Pro Luster photo paper but when I tried to print with some 8.5x11 it was very smudged. There was not an option for that size paper on the printer so I selected 8x10. I’m in need of some guidance. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum.

Canon sells 8.5x11 Pro Luster paper, so it should work with your printer. 

This is from my Pro-100 driver; there is a setting for Letter size paper.

 What operating system are you using? Do you have the Canon IJ Series printer driver installed?
