Canon PROGRAF Pro 200 vs 300 110lb matte cardstock (I have a 300)

Hey guys

Just bought the prograf pro 300 and it prints exceptional cards. We use a mildly recycled 110lb cardstock (~300 gsm). I am aware of pigment vs dye. I realize pigment will be a better option for matte paper re:dot gain.

But it’s slow. ~2 min per card. I believe the pro 200 would be ~1 min. The quality is extremely important, but the speed is soon going to become an issue. Would I be disappointed in the “downgrade” quality/crispness on the matte paper with the 200?

Any opinion is appreciated 🙂

I am in the same dilemma. About to buy and trying to decide which is best for 110lb card stock for my card business that is just starting. Also looking for good matte paper with A2 envelopes if you have a suggestion for this or the printer.  Like the recycled factor for the paper. Thanks for any help!
