imagePROGRAF TM-355 administrator password reset

I have forgotten my administrator password on my  imagePROGRAF TM-355 Firmware ver 02.04. I have follow the user manual to no avail. It should have resetted to "canon" or the serial number on the back of the printer, but neither work. I have check the community forum, use the instructions of the closest model to mine i could find. I instruction in the manual do not match exactly to the menus on the printer, maybe to new new firmware version? What would be the exact reset procedure for this modal and firmware version?
