I keep having this error code come up when it tells me to stop printing. 0310031 - 2F72 – Indication at ink priming error in the right sub tank. It tells me to turn it off and on. when I do that I might get a few pages but it stops and it is pumping ink like crazy to the tank. I am assuming it is pumping ink since that is the sound it is making.

I recently had this issue. I fixed the problem by replacing the "off brand" ink I bought with the official Canon ink. I read somewhere that the printer can have issues with other brands. Since I had the same code as you, meaning the right side was having issues, I just replaced any ink that was "off brand" on that side. Then I rebooted it and now it works as usual. Make sure to change the ink with the printer on.
