Hello,
The ink should be dry to the touch as soon as the paper comes out of the printer. If the ink is still wet, it is likely that the media is not meant for inkjet printers or that the wrong settings might possibly be used. If you are using Non-Canon paper, please check with the manufacturer of the media to confirm what settings should be used with their media.
