where is the WPS button?

Just got a Canon PIXMA MX432 and trying to set up.  It asks for me to push the WPS button, but can't find?  Hep?

After more than 6 months of relatively flawless operations, useing the machine WITH the usb cable...I have concluded that the wireless aspect of this printer is absolutely not worth the time it takes to try to set it up and keep it going...

That's all I have to say about that..

Sherry . . . you saved the day and made me laugh during a most frustrating point. Agreed with the instructional designer recommendation added with some user testing of connection to a WiFi. Jeez Canon.

I also found the WPS button to be the LIGHTNING BOLT on my modem, after much **bleeping** around too. Why Canon doesn't just say this is beyond me, it would save a lot of frustration.

This is going to be the least of your worries when it comes to using this printer.

Very helpful, but should have been two words "press stop". Cannon you should be beaten for the poor instructions and lack of help.

fabulous directions - got it in one - why can't Canon do this - made perfect sense

thank you so much

I don't have a WPS button and the CD doesn't work in my MAC either- What should I do - I can't set up my printer?

Hello dmlarsen.

The WPS button is not on the printer.  This button would be located on your router itself.

If your router does not have a clearly marked 'WPS' button, please use the CD with your computer to perform the standard wireless installation.

thankk you, thank you!

this took all of 20 seconds and worked first time

You should be paid by Canon for saving their skin....I would have returned the printer were it not for you. Thank you. Seriously, thank you.

Thanks for taking the time to post these instructions! I used them to set up my Pixma MX470 series printer. I was like everyone else going "where's the wps button", but i didnt waste time trying to find it. I went straight to google and read the posts on this thread.
