I purchased a new PIXMA TS3720 and have been denied software access. I need to be able to convert a scanned into a computer file. I get this #18.9d51c317.1752489191.9181ad0c Saying I do not have access to that information,
I have not been successful trying to gain this information. I am to the point of returning the printer if I can't down load whats needed.

Hello, Mike!
Welcome to the Canon Community, and congratulations on your new PIXMA purchase. It sounds like your initial impressions haven't been the best, but let's see if we can get you up and running!
None of the software that Canon USA provides is password protected or requires any special access for you to install it, however, because the software does require system-level access to function properly, the user installing the software must have administrative privileges. If you own the computer (it's not your work computer), you should be good to go.
You just need to make sure you're using the current software from Canon, not from Microsoft, Apple, or anywhere else. You can install or reinstall it from https://canon.us/TS3720setup
If you find you need one-on-one assistance, be sure to register your printer at https://canon.us/account and give our team a call at 1-800-OK-CANON (800-652-2666). They're available weekdays from 9am to 6pm (ET).

I believe I made it to the download page. I need the program name to download to get the scan to folder option.
Thanks Mike Dobie
The reason I purchased the PIXMA TS3720 was because I up graded my router and my still working PIXMA MP495 was no longer supported by CANON and my 495 never gave me any problems.

I believe they tied the problem to the windows 11 program. They gave me a work around. I did git access to the programs and are down loaded. My biggest problem Is my own windows 11 lack of knowledge. The way the systems keep changing and at my age, 81 , I am not real interested in keeping up with systems operations I rarely use, which leaves in the position of, I don't know what I am doing. But the team, Canon finely got me to the information I needed. I am sure they think I am an idiot, which is true to some point. Thanks for the help.
