Hello,
I wanted to know if PIXMA MG5220 is compatible with WPA2 AES-based CCMP. The reason why I'm asking is that I have the
EERO PRO 6 and it said it only connects with WPA2 AES-based CCMP.

Greetings,
This information is not available on Canon's site or any of the printers' instruction manuals.
Why not try it.
The printer supports these 5 standards for sure.
WEP
WPA-PSK (TKIP)
WPA-PSK (AES)
WPA-PSK (TKIP)
WPA2-PSK (AES)
You'll want to use WPA2-PSK (AES) on the eero. and see if CCMP is supported as part of the printers WPS2-PSK (AES) standard.
The worst thing that can happen is it won't connect.
The other thing to be mindful of. The printer only supports a 2.4Ghz wireless broadcast. Your eero probably uses (SMART Connect) one SSID name for all broadcasts. Eero might call it by another name... but its all relative. If the printer does not connect... If you have the option of temporarily disabling using one SSID name for all broadcasts, try that as well. Once the printer is connected, you can re-enable the "feature".
Let us know the result, as this might help others.
This document will help with manual configuration on the printer: (Page 12)
