I hate this printer. It printed fine on my network for a few months then it stopped printing. I keep getting an error telling me the computer lost communication with the printer. All my print jobs go in the queu and I get a print error. The printer would sometimes say "IP address changed". However, it was the same as it always was.
I have Windows 11 and I downloaded all the proper software.
I read the community posts and nobody from Canon solved this same issue that keeps happening to many people.
Canon needs to release a YouTube video telling us how to solve it.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the printer. Didn't work. I need to be able to print.

***Thank you for starting your own topic.
Why this is important....
For clarity, I'd like to point out that it's not possible for you to mark a post as solved unless it's your own. Also, user environments can vary. The operating system, connection method and other variables are not the same, making it difficult to provide accurate solutions. "One size" doesn't necessarily fit all. 😉
We'd be happy to try to assist you. Let's investigate your challenge more thoroughly.
I noted that you are running Windows 11 from one of your other replies.
For our benefit, please confirm the following.
-Your Windows 11 PC is based on a Intel or AMD processor. It is not based on ARM / Snapdragon?
-Please articulate clearly the steps you took to assign a static IP to your printer?
-Are you running any third party antivirus on your computer?
-What software, drivers, utilities and applications did you install? Be specific. You may use the support portal for your product for reference.

Regarding your other comments. Canon has excellent support resources available. There are hundreds of videos, a comprehensive knowledge base, and phone, email and chat support available to you. You also have the benefit of the Canon Community which allows you to interact with other Canon users like yourself.
I look forward to your reply.

No. I used a cable to plug the printer into my computer. It worked for a few months but now it stopped printing. I restarted my computer multiple times. No printing any more.

I have no idea what a snapdragon is other than a flower. There was a time I could plug a computer into a printer or connect it by wifi and it just printed. This is supposed to be a good printer and I cannot even get it to print. Somehow I need to be able to have the expertise of assembling a computer to make a printer work.

Greetings,
Now that you're back, let's pick this back up.
Windows 11 now supports two types of hardware architecture. Intel/AMD and ARM. Snapdragon is another brand of processor that supports Windows ARM. Canon's drivers do not support ARM based processors. If you had an ARM base processor, the Installation utility would have displayed an error message when you tried to run it. 😉
Note: If you have a third party antivirus application installed something other than Windows Security which comes with the operating system,, stop and temporarily disable or remove that program before proceeding. If present, it can be re-enabled or reinstalled after the printer installation is complete.
Please start by disconnecting the printer from your computer's USB port.
Now click on the start menu button, then the settings cog and select Bluetooth and devices from the navigation pane on the left.
When the interface opens, click printers and scanners in the center of the page.
Now select your printer MF750 Series. Then press remove which you'll see in the top right hand corner.
Now look at the navigation pane on the left hand side of your screen and press the Apps icon.
Under the Apps menu in the center of the screen, click on the installed apps menu option.
Scroll down until you see all of the Canon programs installed on your computer. You should see Canon generic plus UFRII print driver, Canon MF scan utility, Canon MF 750c series, etc. on the right hand side of the screen you will see three dots for each entry. Click on each one sequentially and select uninstall from the context menu that appears. When finished you can close the window.
Now back on your desktop press the start button and select Restart from the power button menu.
Reminder if third party antivirus is present it will need to be disabled or temporarily uninstalled.
Once your system restarts, open a web browser and visit this URL.
